Angela Gerstner - Things I like

Wow, I'm impressed by your curiosity - Well, enjoy finding out what I loooove ... Here are my favorites:

About people:	HUMOR - especially the kind that allows you to laugh about yourself, too; honesty.
General:	Walks on sunny spring days and looking at the first flowers and trees blooming (although I suffer from slight hayfever - but so what); Indian summers with the colorful leaves; long walks along beaches; sunsets; being with my friends or cooking for them from time to time; flowers and plants (palm-trees, fern)
Food:	CHICKEN (I'll probably grow wings some day !), pizza and all kinds of Italian food, Greek food, enchiladas with piles of guacamole; almost anything with spinach (spinach pizza, spinakopita, plain spinach with fried eggs etc.) And, of course, I like some sweet stuff, too: Cheesecake, fresh raspberry or strawberry cake, home-made apple strudel with hot vanilla sauce, many types of yogurts (however, not all of them), mint/chocolate-chip icecream, macadamia nut icecream
Drinks:	Cranberry juice, cappuccino, mineral water & tea
Smells:	Vanilla, apple & cinnamon, "bakery smell"
Colors:	Royal BLUE (That one definitely becomes obvious to anyone who gets to see my apartment), bright red, black and (pumpkin) orange
Animals:	Orang-utans, koalas, kangaroos, mice (not if they chewed up food in my kitchen closets though), rabbits, the beautiful blue Ulysses butterfly, and basically I'm a "dog person" (not a cat lover) and particularly like long-haired mixed breeds with dark eyes
Music:	Pop/Rock music: Too many bands to list up but my favorites include SUNRISE AVENUE (those really cool, nice guys from Finland), P!nk, Nevio, and many more .... Some latin music, a bit of techno and some jazz and classical music, as well - just the best of (almost) everything :-)
Car:	Convertibles are kinda fun (at least in summer) but actually I have no car at all and love walking.
Authors:	Bill Bryson, Donna Leon, John Steinbeck etc.
Comedians:	as long as they give me a good laugh, I have no special preferences
TV-series:	What I like most are good crime or medical series with talented, "nice" and preferably humorful casts such as: "Hawaii Five-0" (the remake series with Alex O'Loughlin) - my top favorite; "Criminal Minds" (only because of the excellent profiler team - sometimes I wished the murders they are investigating weren't so cruel); "Navy CIS"; "CSI Miami"; "Grey's Anatomy"; "Dr. House". Oh, and I almost forgot to add "Moonlight" and "Three Rivers" - I love both shows (I just hadn't updated this page for quite a while...) Former favorites include "Friends", and the "Columbo" movies
Movies:	Many movies with Brad Pitt (though not all...); 'As good as it gets' (starring Helen Hunt and Jack Nicholson) with such a well-deserved title; Most movies with Hugh Grant; 'Speed'; 'Keeping the faith' (a comedy starring and directed by Edward Norton) All comedies with Sandra Bullock (Sandra never seems to bother making a fool of herself in her movies; I really like her good sense of humor and the fact that she doesn't take herself too serious) and last but not least: 'Chocolat' and 'PIRATES OF THE CARIBBEAN' - not least because Johnny and Orlando are such fun to watch :-)
Actors:	Alex O'Loughlin, Johnny Depp, Colin Farrell, Jack Nicholson, Brad Pitt, Edward Norton, Anthony Hopkins, Morgan Freeman, Matthias Schweighöfer, Moritz Bleibtreu, Daniel Brühl etc.
Actresses:	Sandra Bullock, Jennifer Aniston, Charlize Theron, Cate Blanchett, Iris Berben, Christiane Paul etc. Of course, there are many more talented people out there ...
