Dear friends and fans of Alex O'Loughlin,

Alex became my favorite actor when the first season of "Hawaii Five-O" was aired in Germany.
I just love this exciting, highly entertaining show and its entire cast which is totally likeable and funny - "Hawaii Five-O" has anything you could ask for in a good show.

But the series (in which Alex plays the leading role of Steve McGarrett) also made me curious to find out more about this fantastic Australian actor Alex O'Loughlin, who's got that perfect blend of masculinity, sensitivity and humour.
He has the rare ability to fascinate and mesmerize me by the mere look of his eyes (I love his eyes!) and he's also got a really cute smile :-)

Meanwhile, I've seen most of his previous work - like the really cool vampire series "Moonlight" or the medical series "Three Rivers" about a fictional transplant hospital in Pittsburgh - where I lived one wonderful year of my life, as some of you know.

Now just lean back and enjoy all the goodies I've compiled for those who like Alex or will probably like him after getting to know him and his work.

By the way - none of the many video clips that you find on my pages (via links) were actually created or edited by me but I think I've chosen some very good ones that are fun to watch and give a good impression of Alex' work and talent. It took quite a long time to select those clips because there are hundreds of them on the internet and an awful lot of them are just junk or tasteless or have terrible music in the background or can't be viewed in Germany.

Criminal Minds - Episode 4/22 of the crime series (2009)
Alex excellently and impressively plays a serial killer who builds up an interesting relationship with a blind boy who is actually the son of one of Alex' victims - It's the one episode of the series that left the most lasting impression on me, even before I "consciously" perceived Alex as the excellent actor he is and became a real fan of his.

Whiteout - Feature film with Kate Beckinsale (2009)
You should only watch this film if you (unlike me) are a fan of cold weather, ice and extreme (!) snow storms and if you don't mind seeing close-ups of disgusting-looking dead bodies of people murdered with an ice pick or shot in the face. This was definitely not my type of movie, to be honest... I probably shouldn't have bought it in the first place, knowing that I hate cold weather. Or maybe I should just watch it on hot summer days to cool off...

The Oyster Farmer - A beautiful, very Australian feature film (2004)

Alex has done a couple more performances in movies (such as "Feed" which he even co-produced) and series ("The Shield") but I just wanted to mention those that I either personally like the most or that I've found good clips and pictures of.
